I CANNOT UN HILIGHT THINGS. HOW DO YOU UNHILIGHT STUFF??????? fix it please.

I am a long time user of this Bible app and have built an extensive library within it. It is my favorite Bible app but I have one major problem with it: the chapters do not sync with the text reader on Ipad. That is, when I would have it read aloud the text from a chapter it begins to read from a different chapter altogether. I have notified them of this problem on several occasions but they either ignore my request that it be fixed or they are unable to fix it. Either way they have not responded to me. Every time there is an update I hope for a resolution.

Having trouble loading the latest update on my iPad mini. Frustrating to say the least.

This application does all things well. In fact I now use it on my PC and my smart phone as well.

This Bible App is great. The best there is out of the ones I own or have tried. I downloaded and purchased several before landing on and deciding to invest in several books for my personal library. I also use Tecarta Bible which is just okay but limited in its function. I do however like the Study and Devotional Bibles. Commentaries however are severely limited. WORDsearch Bible is very expansive but expensive via the desktop app. It has a terrible UI in my opinion. The desktop app is what I use however for in depth study and sermon prep. All in all if I were to guide anyone regarding their personal iOS and Desktop Bible study app it would be Olive Tree Bible. Your Library book purchases do transfer. The only place Olive Tree is lacking is in their Developers Attention to Updating the Mac Application which currently does not work. I have contacted them several times and they assure me they are working on it but say it is not a priority as iOS development takes precedence. I say since the desktop and mobile versions work seamlessly on Windows that they should on Mac also. If you wish the Mac app worked without crashing please tell the developers. I hope this extended review helps you make an informed decision. Be sure to pray about investing finances in to a Bible Study Platform before you make your move and include your spouse in on it if you are married. God Bless You as you study His Word.

This continues to be the Gold Cadillac of Bible apps. A runner up might be Accordance. None of the others even come close. Idea for future update: a "parallel" translations function like the "Compare" button recently introduced in YouVersion.

Ive thanked God for it and the devs work, many times. --------- I would add another star if I could - thanks for refreshing me 10/29/16 I dont see my older review but I agree with what I wrote before - the app is awesome, a Godsend! I love the copy and paste feature that just shows where the verse came from when you paste it and skips web links! I know the devs (developers) will address any issues found in the reviews! OK!!! This app constantly improved. It is stable and reliable... My only complaint is that i cant change the text color within my notes. Until that happeneth I shant giveth thee a 5 star rating...

I like it. Would love to see easier text selection... like whole verse selection found in Bible app.

I have this app for over 12 years. It was on my first palm pilot. I appreciate the ability to carry so many bible translations and study material around with me. The ability to sync personal notes, highlights etc across different platforms like iPad, iPhone and my desktop is just so incredibly useful. For the first time in my life, I can move to a new study bible or device and carry my notes and highlighted passages with me. I have only needed customer service once in over 12 years and it was outstanding. Great app. Great design Inspired! FOLA Ogunleye.

Having a Bible (or at least a New Testament) with you all the time is essential equipment for Christian. Having it in a portable, searchable format is wonderful. Whenever a thought pops into your mind, you can stop a search the scripture right then rather than try to remember it when you get home and probably forget it by that time. The app is very well written. The interface is intuitive. The extra reference add-ons and other translations make this app exceed some of the features that you find in the desktop study bibles. Its fast and accurate. No wifi needed to run app. Overall its a great bible.

Ive used Olivetree over 10 years and have found it to be the best balance of ease and depth having a well integrated system. I still use Olivetree some but Im moving over to Accordance because Olivetree for PC just will not fix the hyperlink glitch which happens when clicking on a link in a popup...the popup disappears without taking you to the linked reference. A very critical tool in bible study. This quirk does not happen on my ipad app...only on Win 10. Ive written Olivetree twice over the past 6 months but still no patch. This mobile app works flawless and deserves 5 stars but 4 stars is for the slowness of Olivetree techies to come out with a fix when needed.

Excellent layout, awesome resources and I can use it on any platform. I love not having to be online to use it. Bravo OliveTree.
